TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga) is an evidence-based intervention for individuals with complex trauma or treatment-resistant PTSD. The practice allows participants to decide how they want to engage with physical forms and movements, offering them autonomy over their body. Unlike traditional yoga, TCTSY facilitators (TCTSY-F) do not provide hands-on assists or issue commands. Instead, they practice alongside participants, fostering a shared, authentic experience that emphasizes internal awareness over external appearance.
